Want to become an on-line tutor
and earn extra money from home?

When this site launches we will offering tutoring services to teens in grades 7 – 12. Whether you are an “A” student in high school (Grades 8 and up), a university student with specific subject matter expertise, or a teacher, we will have tutoring spots for you! (And if there is enough interest, we’ll launch this part of the service before the site is complete.)

How much will you be paid?

High school students/ Teen tutors: $12 - 14/hour
University Students: $18 - 20/hour
Teachers: $37- $ 40/hour

The range will depend on the student star ratings you achieve. The better job you do for your students, the higher your star rating and hourly rate. And remember, since you are working from home, you won’t lose any time getting to and from your tutoring place, so your overall hourly rate is even better.

What will we need before you can start tutoring?

Although we don’t need any of this info now, we thought you might like to know what you’ll need later.

Everyone who is 18 and over, and/or who is no longer a registered high school student, will need to get a police check (this can be done on-line and doesn’t cost much), so you may want to start that process while we are completing the site.

Students of all ages: We’ll need a copy of your last report card.

Teachers: We’ll need proof of accreditation.

Everyone will also have to take the ForMySchoolStuff.com tutoring course and pass a simple test. This will be a free service for everyone who signs up in the pre-registration period. This course will give you a tutoring certificate and enable you to tutor on our site.
